The Bruins and Utes have a friendly rivalry going and it continues this Saturday at the Rose Bowl, though because of the circumstances, expect both teams to play very tough. I even expect it to get a little chippy.

History:

The Utes and Bruins do not have a long history but what they do have has been fierce. Though the series started back in 1933 with a UCLA victory, Utah did not beat UCLA for the first time until 2007. Since the Utes joined the conference in 2011, both UCLA and Utah have traded blows. One of the more crucial games came two years ago at the Rose Bowl when a scrappy Ute team passed rushed all over the Bruins for 10 sacks. If UCLA would have won that game, they could have easily been a Top 5 team.
