With the summer approaching and football far off in the distance, the Bruin coach and his better half talked to Matt “Money” Smith and Petros Papadakis of the Petros and Money Show on AM 570 LA Sports about their foundation, the tournament and a little bit of UCLA Football.

Per their website, the Count On Me Foundation’s vision is “to improve the lives of children in need, primarily in three target areas: children from low socio-economic backgrounds, mentally and/or physically challenged children, and children at risk”.

Petros and Money asked the coach about his perspective on the UCLA Football team during Spring Practice and, surprisingly, one of Mora’s biggest takeaways is that the chemistry was strong and something he has not felt “since year one or two”.

Mora then dishes on how it was at the NFL Draft with Myles Jack and having to go through that awkward first round where Kenneth Clark was drafted, and Jack was not.

He then finished up as he gave his perspective of being a father of an athlete that was recruited and has committed to play at

Maryland

for the Men’s Lacrosse team. It has given him the perspective of a parent of a recruit, which has helped him connect with his own players and prospects.
