Former UCLA linebacker Myles Jack will have limited participation at the 2016 NFL Combine.

Myles Jack, the dynamic two-way athlete and former UCLA Football player, is going to the NFL Combine which starts this week, but will be limited in his workouts.

Jack has not yet recovered from tearing his anterior meniscus (knee) in practice early in the 2015 season, just after the Bruin’s third game of the season. Because of this, the former Bruin has been slowly recovering, but is not yet at 100% and will not fully participate at the NFL Combine.

Acording to a few sources, Jack will only participate in bench work, which seems smart as it only utilizes his arms and keeps his legs and knees free of pressure and strain.

The good news though, Jack is set to go through the full set of drills in March (tentatively the 15th) during his Pro Day workout. These workouts are usually held at the player’s former school, though UCLA has not yet formally announced it.

Along with Jack, UCLA’s Pro Day should also include the eight other former Bruins that were invited to the NFL Combine: Caleb Benenoch, Jake Brendel, Kenny Clark, Thomas Duarte, Ka’Imi Fairbairn, Jordan Payton, Paul Perkins and Alex Redmond.
