Former UCLA Basketball player Zach LaVine just captured his second consecutive NBA Slam Dunk Contest with some gravity defying performances that will BLOW YOUR MIND!

UCLA Basketball fans know exactly what former Bruin Zach LaVine can do. NBA Slam Dunk Contest fans also know what the second year pro can do after his championship performance from last year.

On Saturday night, LaVine continued his high-flying efforts during the NBA All-Star Weekend as he participated in the dunk contest in attempt to defend his title and just like last year, he did not disappoint. In fact, him and former Arizona Wildcat Aaron Gordon brought some Pac-12 flare to the NBA Slam Dunk Contest as the two went toe-to-toe in the championship round.

In an age where the dunk contest has left much to be desired, LaVine and Gordon brought some excitement back to the NBA All-Star competition.

Though Gordon did a fine job, we here at Go Joe Bruin do not really care what he did because he lost… and he is a Wildcat. What we care about is that a former Bruin continued to make his mark on an NBA All-Star Weekend tradition.

If you missed it, here are LaVine’s dunks from the first to the championship round:
