Dear Friends,

Have you missed UCLA Football? We know we have! Driving to Pasadena on a warm fall Saturday. Winding down into the Arroyo Seco and getting that first glimpse of the rose on the front of the stadium. Watching the boys in Blue and Gold play inside the granddaddy of them all, the Rose Bowl!

Well now it is happening again, expect in the Spring and at 10 a.m. We here at Go Joe Bruin will be taking in the final event of Spring Practice as the UCLA Football team participates in the glorified practice that is the Spring Showcase!

But after that, some of the writers of Go Joe Bruin will take to Old Town Pasadena to discuss the events we just saw and take a look at UCLA football going forward as we record part of the next episode for The What’s Bruin Show, a podcast about anything and everything Bruin sports.

It is the 1st Annual Go Joe Bruin Post Practice Pub Party! Hooray!

Okay, it really is not a party, I just needed another word for the alliteration. It is more of a meet-and-greet with Go Joe Bruin and UCLA fans.

About 30 minutes after the Spring Showcase ends, we will be meeting at Lucky Baldwin’s at 17 South Raymond Avenue, just south of Colorado Blvd. It is a wonderful pub with great food and a wonderful drink list. (Try the barley wine, woah!)

So if you are free after the Spring Showcase and want to chat about UCLA football, come hang out i Pasadena! There is even a chance that you could be on the next episode of The What’s Bruin Show.

Until then, Go Bruins!

Sincerely,

Go Joe Bruin
