In Episode 59 of The What’s Bruin Show, hosts Bill Shirley, Jake Merrifield and I talk about UCLA football as they finish up their last last week of Spring Practice and head into the Spring Showcase at the Rose Bowl. FYI, the game is at 10 a.m., tickets are $5 with parking $15. Tailgating is okay!

Anyway, we talk about the intense quarterback competition that is taking place between Mike Fafaul, Jerry Neuheisel, Asiantii Woulard and Josh Rosen. Though we speculate who will be the #1 QB in fall, you are not going to get it from head coach Jim Mora. We also get into Tom Bradley‘s role as the new defensive coordinator and discuss how he is doing in his first full outing with the Bruins. We also chat about every other position and who we think will make a big impact this season for UCLA football.

We also have a small take on the Soso Jamabo situation and talk about how even though this is very bad, it is not the end of the world.

For you UCLA basketball buffs, we talk a lot about Bruin’s recruiting adventures. Will the recent commitments help or hurt the Bruin’s chances for success in 2015-16? And what will define a successful season? We tell you!
