When you score 28 points in a Round of 32 rout of the #14 UAB Blazers in the NCAA Tournament to advance your #11 UCLA Bruins to the Sweet Sixteen, you can do whatever you want. That is exactly what UCLA center Tony Parker did in his post game interview with CBS sports reporter Allie LaForce as he gave her a lovely compliment.
LaForce had interviewed head coach Steve Alford and Parker after their win. When it was Parker’s turn, LaForce asked the standard post-game questions and finished with slightly off-topic question, “Are you going to lobby for an extra day of celebration?”
Parker then said, “We are going to try” and then finished with a compliment to LaForce.
Parker sure knows how to get attention. The video had immediately gone viral, which made many on social media curious about said bracelet.
