Today the UCLA football program released the schedule for Spring Practice and I think I speak for most Bruin fans when I say, “WOOHOO!” Though it has not even been 2 months since the Bruins completed their 2014-15 season with a 40-35 victory over Kansas State in the Valero Alamo Bowl on January 2, many invested in UCLA football program could not wait for this information to be revealed.

Things get going  at the end of next month when UCLA will start their 14 practices on Tuesday, March 31 at 7 a.m. All practices will be held at Spaulding Field on the campus of UCLA and are open to the public (though there will be standing room only). Practices will be held 3-4 time s a week for four weeks which culminates with the annual Spring Showcase.

This year, the Spring Showcase returns to the Rose Bowl and will be held on Saturday, April 25 at 10 a.m. Here is the full schedule:

Imagine, we are just over a month away from Spring Practice. We will soon be able to see the return of Paul Perkins, Jake Brendel and Myles Jack as well as some up-and-comers,  like Nate Iese, Eldridge Massington, Deon Hollins and Jaleel Wadood, just to name a few. We also get to take an early look at both new quarterback Josh Rosen and the new defense run by newly hired Tom Bradley.

Football… it is closer than you think. Go Bruins!
