Jerry Neuheisel: Student, Quarterback, Dancer? The Bruin Quarterback Is Caught On Camera Making Strange Signals

The leg. It was pretty funny and Jerry Neuheisel thinks it is too. During the ESPN broadcast of Kansas State Vs UCLA in the Valero Alamo Bowl, the Bruin’s back-up quarterback, though known to be an entertaining sort, graced Bruin fans with, um, a play call, I think. Rather, it looked as though Neuheisel was working on some sweet new dance moves. He could have also been stepping on a bug. Take a look for yourself.

I have to admit, I was completely focused on the game when the Bruins were marching down the field int he second quarter trying to increase a 24-6 lead, but then that leg came out. Man, oh man, did that throw me off. It was distracting. The best part was, the way Neuheisel was engaged with the game, it could very well have been a play signal. We will never know.

In the age of cardboard cut-outs of pop culture figures that are used to help out up-tempo offenses, look for dance moves to start making their way into football strategies. I, for one, cannot wait.
