The UCLA Bruins are a team in transition with a lot of raw talent that is still looking for their way this season. On paper, this looks like Kentucky can runaway with the game. By imagination, we will give you 10 Bold Predictions as to why UCLA will be successful in this game. So here are our…

-Because it will be a bit of a homecoming for Kevon Looney who is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin which is just an hour and a half north of Chicago, we predict he will have one epic game. I am calling it now: 33 points and 18 rebounds. 14 of those points will be from outside shooting… with his eyes closed.

Norman Powell will make four of Sports Center’s Top 10 list with an array of highlight dunks.

-Kentucky will underestimate the sheer power and mass of Tony Parker. While trying to dunk, Dakari Johnson run into the wall that is Parker, miss the shot and leave the game for an unspecified injury. We later find out it is due to a battered ego.

  • Bryce Alford will blow everyone’s mind as with an astounding 16 assists. One of those assists will be thrown off the backboard to Looney who slams it so hard, the game is paused for several minutes to fix the loosened rim.

Thomas Welsh will solidify his role as the “6th Man”. Not only will he reach 10 points, but also 10 rebounds in a monster effort. The cherry on top is when he blocks a shot from UK’s Aaron Harrison so hard that it flies into the first row of the United Center and smacking Kentucky Superfan Drake square in the nose, delaying his musical “career” for several months. Good for you Welsh!

-Because of the lack of defense on the Bruins, they will have to overwhelm the Wildcats with offense, specifically from behind the arc. UCLA will have a combined three-point shooting effort from Alford, Powell and Isaac Hamilton that sees them shoot 20-for-22. The two misses will be due UCLA feeling bad for Kentucky.

-Second-half adjustments will be a big factor in this game. Head coach Steve Alford will have the Bruins playing so well after halftime that hey start on a 20-2 run. The only reason Kentucky scores is because Wanaah Bail blocks a shot that goes off a Kentucky player’s head and bounces into the rim. Oh well.

-Tony Parker will have a game-saving block on Willie Cauley-Stein for a last second Bruin win. Parker will then look at Cauley-Stein and say, “Not today, Bruh”.

-UCLA will win this game 92-91 (Or lose 98-60).

-When UCLA does get the win, an over-excited Steve Alford will slide on one knee on the court and do a fist pump as if he just scored the game-winning goal in Game One of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. He then has to be helped off the court due to severely bruising his knee.
