UCLA And Kentucky Finalize Home-And-Home Series

It was announced this morning that the two most legendary programs in college basketball history will be meeting for a home-and-home series starting next season. The UCLA and Kentucky basketball programs will be facing each other in 2015 and 2016 with the series starting next season in Westwood.

As the tweet above indicates, the first game in the series will be on Decemeber 3, 2015 at legendary Pauley Pavilion. The second game in the series will take place at Kentucly’s Rupp Arena during the non-conference schedule of the 2015-16 season in either November or Decemeber.

UCLA and Kentucky actually get things started this season, though their neutral site meeting was schedule over a year ago. The Bruins and Wildcats will meet up for pre-Christmas festivities on December 20 as they will square-off in the CBS Sports Classic at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

So for three straight years we get to watch the two most decorated college basketball teams in the country, that combine for 19 total championships, take on one another. UCLA leads all of college basketball with 11 National Championships while Kentucky accounts for eight.

Needless to say this will be an excellent series to watch. Go Bruins!
