Westwood Rewind: UCLA Runs L.A.

facebooktwitterreddit

What a weekend for UCLA sports! If you did not know, UCLA runs L.A. It is a proven fact. And no, it is not just because UCLA is home to the most National Championships in the country, it is because the Bruins wrecked several teams this weekend in very important games that not only puts them in good position for the post-season, but also sends a clear message… especially to that school across town. Here are the latest gongs-on with UCLA Athletics in Westwood Rewind: UCLA Runs L.A.

Women’s Soccer

Three shutouts, three wins and they advance to the Elite Eight. These Bruins are rolling.

Cross Country

UCLA XC had an improved season as both Women’s and Men’s teams headed out to the NCAA Championships.

Men’s Water Polo

So who runs L.A.? Not that school from across town! Men’s Water Polo proved that again with their third win over the Trojans this season. Though they only got third-place in the MPSF tournament, they claim the #1 spot in the NCAA Tournament.

Swim and Dive

Swim and Dive is getting in some good performances at this point in the season.

Women’s Volleyball

These Bruins are having an improved season, though a little bumpy. They are in the homestretch of their schedule as they look to impress to try to make it to the NCAA Tournament.

Women’s Basketball

A tough start for the Women’s team, though it good for them to be back home after a long road trip to start the season.

Men’s Basketball

We have some athletes here!

Football

I am guessing you already know about this… #WOTT!
