  • In Episode 43 of the What’s Bruin Podcast, hosts Bill Shirley, Jake Merrifield and I take you through a spooky episode that is our Halloween Special. We start off by reviewing the scary win over Colorado as the Bruins had to go to double overtime to beat the last-place Buffaloes. In Bruin land, there are a lot of rumblings about what needs to be done, especially going as far as calling for Jim Mora to be fired. We are here to tell you NOT to listen to them! We bring the truth and even though UCLA football is not performing as most hoped, there is light at the end of the tunnel, er, season, or whatever.

We also talk to Go Joe Bruin writer Michael Hanna as he gives his insight to what the Bruins need to do to be a force in the Pac-12. Although sometimes his writing appears to be doom and gloom (Bill said it, not I), he brings a very good perception to the What’s Bruin Podcast with his take on things.

We then preview this weekend’s Homecoming Game against the Arizona Wildcats at the Rose Bowl… which happened to take place on Dia De Los Muertos! If you are one that thinks UCLA is dead, then maybe this is the game they rise to conquer the Pac-12! (Insert maniacal laugh here!) Spooky, indeed.

We then get into the rest of the conference during Pac-12 Talk as well as

    slam

discuss the first ever College Football Playoff rankings. All of this and more on Episode 43 of the
