After a 62-27 mauling of the Arizona State Sun Devils, the UCLA Bruins moved up 3 spots in the AP Poll and is now ranked 8th in the nation. They also moved up one spot in the coaches poll as the Bruins now occupy the #9 spot.

After much ridicule of the polls for dropping UCLA after the first two Bruin victories, the pollsters seem to have a more favorable view of after their big win in Tempe, getting them back to within one spot of their original preseason ranking. Not only did UCLA beat ASU, but did it with a complete effort from the offense, defense and special teams.

The #9 Bruins now turn their attention to a tough Utah team that got their first conference loss over the weekend.
