In some unfortunate news, junior running back Steven Manfro had to be carried off the field today in what was apparently a very serious knee injury. The fan favorite was said to be getting more time at RB by head coach Jim Mora, but that changed today. The extent of the injury is unknown, but we will be relaying information as soon as it becomes available.

Running backs Jordan James and Paul Perkins will continue to carry the majority of the load for the Bruins, but will need to incorporate the help of a third and possibly a fourth RB. Craig Lee, Nate Starks and Adarius Pickett could serve in the rotation in the coming weeks.

In what is more ‘recovery’ news, center Jake Brendel is looking good to come back sooner than later. As for Simon Goines, he is starting his comeback and is estimated to return by the game against Texas.
