The Go Joe Bruin UCLA Football “Award Watch List” List

There sure are a lot of UCLA football players getting recognized for pre-season awards. It says a lot about a team when so many players are getting national attention and with that, respect. Several Bruins are being named for several pre-season watch lists, which is great to see if you are a Bruin fan. It also says a lot about how Head Coach Jim Mora and staff have recruited and developed a team that is expected to do big things this year.

So in order to keep track of every Bruin being named to pre-season honors, we present,’ The Go Joe Bruin “Award Watch List” List’. Redundant, yes, but at least now you will remember it. On with the list!

Myles Jack and Eric Kendricks were named to the Bednarik, Butkus, Lombardi and the Nagurski awards list, with Jack also getting attention for the Hornung. Brett Hundley saw his name on three lists: Allstate Goods Works, Davey O’Brien and Maxwell. Jake Brendel made the Rimington list as Thomas Duarte was named to the Mackey. That is an impressive amount of Bruins getting recognized. It will be great to finally see that work on the field this coming season.
