The accolades keep rolling in for the #BruinRevolution as redshirt junior quarterback and Heisman hopeful, Brett Hundley, was named to the Davey O’Brien Award watch list earlier today. The O’Brien Award is given out by the Davey O’Brien National Selection Committee to honor the best quarterback in the country. This is the third honor Hundley has been named to in the pre-season as has also made the watch lists for both the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team and the Maxwell Award.

Hundley is set to have a great year as it will be his third under center after leading UCLA to consecutive 9-5 and 10-3 seasons. Not only will Hundley have a solid and experienced line, but several running backs that have seen plenty of time on the field added with a plethora of weapons at wide receiver. It is no wonder why a lot of people are looking for him to have such a big season.

The Bruin quarterback is also expected to hit several all-time records this year for the Bruins, including: Total Offense (3rd with 7,919), Touchdown Passes (3rd with 53), Passes Completed (3rd with 567) and Passing Yards (4th with 6,816). You will definitely not want to miss this season. The question now is: are you ready, Bruins? Game 1 at Virginia on August 30 will be here before you know it!
