The Solid Gold Sounds of the UCLA Marching Band is joining the #BruinRevolution. This coming season, the Bruin band will be mic’d up for home games at the Rose Bowl. Previously, the band would have to project their already infectious sound out to the entire stadium from that north east pocket near the student section. This year, they will be helping UCLA football make the Rose Bowl a real home field advantage as the sheer awesomeness will be resonating throughout the skulls of everyone in the Arroyo Seco.

Can you imagine USC trying to play their songs at the Rose Bowl, only to have the Solid Gold Sounds blast them away through every speaker in the Stadium? Beauty, eh!

Thanks for the info Mr. Rebholz, but with that, Go Joe Bruin asks just three tiny favors of the UCLA Marching Band:

#1-Please stop playing “Sell Out” by Reel Big Fish. Those old enough to know the song most likely do not like it. Those young enough not to know the song, are probably thinking, “This punk-jazz is not good.”

#2-Please stop playing ANYTHING by The Offspring. Their head song writer and lead singer is a Trojan. Dexter Holland has an undergraduate degree, a Masters and a commenced Ph.D from USC. He is all Trojan, so please stop playing his songs at UCLA home games.

#3-Can you please put “Turn Down For What” by DJ Snake and Lil Jon in your repertoire? That song is off the hook!
