The UCLA Softball team has defeated Notre Dame 7-0 in their second game of the double elimination NCAA Regional being held at UCLA’s Easton Stadium. It is the second straight game that the Bruins have blanked their opponent after they defeated Southern Utah 8-0 in six innings on Friday. This sets up the Bruins to play in the Regional Championship Game tomorrow. The win gives UCLA a 50-6 record on the year and show no signs of slowing down.

Southern Utah and Long Beach State (the team Notre Dame defeated yesterday) play at 3 p.m., with a semi-final match set for 6 p.m. With each team needing two losses to be eliminated, the Bruins are in good standing to come out victorious in the Region. They would then face the winner of the Kentucky Regional in a best of 3 series.
