    Let’s get this party started!

Well, UCLA NLI Day is shaping up to be an absolute disaster. While it has seemed like the recent upsurge of UCLA football has gotten the attention of recruits across the country, it turns out that the only ones actually interested in UCLA are second tier talent. No 5-stars. Signing only one of our top 12 targets (the lowest of the 12, Kenny Young).

We have beat up on USC lately, but their recruiting class and NLI signees blow us out of the water (even though they are limited on the number they can sign). It looks like it will be very soon when USC turns the tables on UCLA again. It had seemed like Mora was a good recruiter, but it turns out it was smoke and mirrors. Not only did he miss out on basically every national talent, he also lost out on every top SoCal player in his own backyard. What the hell happened, Mora?

    • Mike W.R.

I disagree. Kenny Young adds to a HUGE class. And so what if USC get s5-star recruits, THEY WIL ALWAYS GET FIVE-STAR RECRUITS. They just do not know how to coach them at SC. And you really think 7-win Sark is going to do a better job than Mora. No.

Saying this class is disappointing is almost insulting as we have a lot of great recruits. BTW, these are recruits, some of who will not see the field for two or three years. Chill out y’all, #WOTT!

  • Bryan A. Vargas

Disappointing for sure, but it’s still a solid class. Last year’s class was as good as you could get so a drop off was expected, but missing out on the SoCal talents to USC hurts a ton. Just one from Mama, JuJu or Adoree would have made me happy.

    • Mike W.R.

The thing is, USC does not know what to do with their recruits and Sark will not make them “great”.
