UCLA Football: Bruins Ranked No. 18 In AP Poll

facebooktwitterreddit

After trouncing Nevada on Saturday night, the UCLA Bruins found themselves moving up the AP poll.

Voters saw enough to move UCLA three spots, from No. 21 to No. 18. This moved them directly ahead of Northwestern (which struggled against Pac-12 foe California) and just behind Michigan (which absolutely demolished their opponent).

Additionally, UCLA finally moved ahead of Nebraska in the poll. While the rankings are meaningless at this time of the year, the Bruins never moved ahead of Nebraska in the AP poll last year after beating the Corn Huskers at the Rose Bowl.

Other Pac-12 schools in the rankings include Oregon (No. 2), Stanford (No. 5), Washington (No. 20) and USC (No. 25).
