How important is the Bruins upcoming game on Saturday against the Sun Devils? It’s pretty important.

With a tough stretch of games coming up, UCLA must start this “daunting” test with a quality road win against a quality team. We don’t know much about ASU this year, they’ve played one quality opponent, and well, they got devoured by Oregon.

USC, ASU, the Bruins and Arizona are all still in the mix for the Pac-12 South Title. USC has its hands full

against a hi-powered Arizona offense. Just as Arizona has its hands full with Matt Barkley. The Bruins are dealing with a very talented, young quarter back named Taylor Kelly who has thrown for 1693 YDs, 15 TDs against 4 INTs. Pretty impressive. We all know ASU has its hands full with Johnathan Franklin and Brett Hundley. If Arizona wins, which means USC loses, this picture will be shaken up big time. USC would then be tied with either UCLA or ASU at the top with UofA right on their tails. The south has a lot of underrated talent this year, way more than last year. Arizona is finally competing, as is ASU. Wash. State is rebuilding and they’ll hopefully be back to full strength soon. UCLA vs ASU is a B-I-G game because as I mentioned, the winner of this game has a view from the top of the division. This win won’t come easy. We’re playing a disciplined team in front of a more than hostile crowd. The Bruins MUST stay composed, especially the young guys upfront. The battle is won in the trenches.

This game has a ton of implications, I’m very excited to see what the Bruins have in stock for us. Go Bruins!
