UCLA Basketball: Kyle Anderson is going to need thumb surgery

UCLA signee Kyle Anderson is going to need thumb surgery.

Well, this sucks.

Anderson, a 6’7” point forward, is getting surgery on his

right

left thumb, which is going to keep him out for three months, according to Adam Zagoria’s Twitter account (@AdamZagoria).

Three months ain’t so bad, I guess. I mean, yeah, it’s bad that he’s injured and whatnot, but it isn’t as if it’s going to hurt his season and the overall cohesiveness of the triumvirate that is Jordan Adams, Shabazz Muhammad and Anderson himself.

Either way, we hope Kyle Anderson gets well, because that thumb is going to be our only source of ball distribution in Westwood come 2013.

GO BRUINS!!!

(Edited: It was Kyle Anderson’s left thumb, not his right. Tomato potato.)
