When Jim Mora brought in an elite recruiting class on National Signing Day back in February, everyone got super stoked about UCLA football again. So much so, that we’ve been counting the days until we get to see some True Blue and Gold out on the field.

NO MORE COUNTING. UCLA released the 2012 Spring Schedule:

"The UCLA football team will begin Spring practice on April 3rd at Spaulding Field. The Bruins will practice every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with the Annual Spring Game to be held at the Bruins’ home stadium, The Rose Bowl, at 5:00 pm on Saturday, May 5th. All practices, as well as the Spring Game, are open to the public.Tuesday and Thursday practices begin at 3:45 pm. Saturday practices will begin at 9:30 am or 1:00 pm. The first two Saturdays (Apr. 7/14) will begin at 9:30 am, while the last two Saturdays (Apr. 21/28) will start at 1:00 pm."

Perfect. For me, at least. As a UCLA student, I freaked out because I don’t know what my Spring 2012 schedule looks like, class-wise. Needless to say, UCLA apparently built their Spring Practice schedule around my schedule. I get out of class at 3:15 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, leaving me a half an hour to get to Spaulding and watch me some football.

So if things go well, I’ll have spring practice notes and whatnot, just so I can legitimize myself. If I’m not having spring practice notes, it’s because I’ve become a zombie and also because I have exams that I don’t want to take. Can’t I just watch football whenever I want to for a living?
