Hi. I’m Justin. Nice to meet you.

(Please welcome another new addition to the Go Joe Bruin Staff, Justin.)

Introductions online… always feel weird. So distant, and you never know if anybody is reading this.

You can probably deduce from this that my Facebook “about” section is similarly awkward and brief. In fact, I’m not sure it even exists at all.

What else — I’m Asian, and I’m a 4th year at UCLA, and I’m a biology major with a specialization in computing.

From that, you can probably make further deductions- this guy is probably procrastinating for midterms (correct) and that UCLA does indeed have a bunch of Asians (also correct). I would talk about how I’m super unique and stuff, but that just seems lame because… there’s tons of people out there just like me (especially at this school).

Things that I believe in — moderation of comments is best kept at a minimum. That is, if you’ve got something to say, go ahead and say it. I won’t stop you unless it’s racist, homophobic, sexist, or in any way discriminatory. You can go ahead and call me an idiot if you would like to (but please don’t).

For those of you who wish to psychoanalyze me further, here are some of my favorite quotes:

“A witty saying proves nothing.” – Voltaire

“I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.” -Evelyn Beatrice Hall

and this one, because I find it funny:

“Whoever said, ‘It’s not whether you win or lose that counts,’ probably lost.”

I’m really not a sore loser! Promise!

(Though I’m a pretty poor winner. Maybe.)
